After School Program
The After School Program reaches 50 kids Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. Along with Creative Arts and Recreational Activities, Center for Champions provides the following services:
- Homework help: Students are provided with daily homework help with computer access.
- Chapel: At least once a week kids have a time of worship, a Scripture lesson, and prayer.
- Life Skills Classes: Various classes are taught to provide character and moral development.
- Free Time: Students enjoy playing board games, dodge ball, educational computer games, etc.
- Tutoring: Students who need extra one-on-one academic help are matched with volunteers from the community.
